- Event Description:Colchester farmers market has had a makeover and is going from strength to strength!
This monthly market held in the Arts Centre, had been run for many years by volunteers atEn-Form who, after years of hard work, have decided it’s time to pass on the baton toSuffolk Market Events.We've steadily increased the number of regular stalls to include Essex honey from Beehouse Honey Company, vegan options from the Norwegian Baker and Eden Living, amazing gluten free bakes from Hopewell Bakery in Bures and delicious brownies and shortbread from Alex's Artisan Bakery. Many of the regulars are there too, including Daymen’s Hill Orchards, Wigborough Traditional Meats, organic vegetables from Lauriston farm, local sausages from Totham Bangers and Indian Food from Mena Boughey. There will be a small number of gorgeous handmade craftproducts and a fab Pop Up Café.Everything that is sold at the farmers’ market will have been produced by the person whois selling so there are no middle men and all the stallholders will come from within a 30mile radius – this really is shopping local at its very best!
