    • Event Description:
The county of Suffolk, steeped in farming and agricultural history and heritage, has its own Farmers’ Market in the county town, and it's booming!
There will be more fantastic products at this year's markets which will really show off all the fabulous local and artisan producers there are in Suffolk including locally reared, traditionally butchered pork from Greenacres, freshly baked loaves, jams and preserves from The Jam Shed, small batch gin from Dalham Mill, fresh fruit and veg from Poppies Farm, vegan sweets and savouries plus a small selection of handmade crafts and great coffee!

Street food trucks will be providing delicious Azure wood fired pizza and buttermilk chicken courtesy of Peck as well as Suffolk honey and local jams and preserves.

This will be a market where customers can talk to the actual producer and really get to know about the product they are about to buy. Everything that is sold at the market will be produced by the person who is selling and nothing will have travelled further than approximately 30 miles to be in Ipswich. We also plan to have a small number of high quality, locally made craft and seasonal guest traders selling items such as fresh game and plants. Visit the Cornhill on the first Sunday each month and make a day of it in Ipswich - you won't be disappointed!
